Launching ceremony - Orange Digital Center Club in Buea

Operational for several monthis, the Orange Digital Center Club at the University of Buea was officially inaugurated Friday, 01 March 2024.

Located on the University of Buea' campus, the activities of this technology and innovation center were officially launched by :

• Mr Patrick Benon, CEO of Orange Cameroon,
• Dr Corinna Fricke, German ambassador in Cameroon and
• Pr Michael Sone Ekonde, University of Buea’ deputy vice-chancellor.

This first Orange Digital Center branch in the Western region, has the following objectives:

• Support the digitization of the University of Buea

Improve the employability of future graduates through :

• Acquiring digital skills to complement the university curriculum
• Promoting cooperation and synergies with key players in the digital and entrepreneurial ecosystems
• Support for students' personal projects
• And contribute to the University animations.
